While most of them are quite easy to solve, unfortunately some are much more complex. Merlin’s Trials at Feldcroft
In total you will have to succeed 16 Riddles of Merlin in the Feldcroft area. As a reminder, the game map doesn’t automatically display event icons: you have to get close enough to a point of interest for the mark to eventually appear.

The butterflies
There is only one such event at Feldcroft. The goal is to spot 3 swarms of blue butterflies around Merlin’s base and return them to their pillars. You must use the spell Lumos to take them with you. Use your broom and Revelio to make them easier to spot because sometimes the butterflies are quite far away or high in the air. You will also see them better at night.
Spinning cubes
This test requires you to cast the Flipendo spell on the cubes of each of the three pillars. Always proceed as follows: first take one side of the cube (the one of your choice) and rotate it until the symbol is the same. Then take the adjacent cube (and not the cube opposite) and rotate it until you also get the right symbol. This should always be enough to get the right combination.
The steles explode
Thanks to the Confringo spell, you must explode the 5 pillars you find around Merlin’s base. Use Revelio to make them easier to spot in blue.
The platform game
This is an easy course where you have to climb the first flat rock and jump on the other one without ever falling.
The images that need to be repaired
It is necessary to locate debris from stones in the area and use the Reparo spell to repair the statues. there are usually three.
The pillar balls to destroy
Always in sets of three, you must destroy the poles with an orb on them with a simple damage spell. There are three sets of three pillars that must be destroyed each time. The hardest to spot are those in Irondale village.
The braziers to ignite
Note that this puzzle is much easier to solve in Story Mode because the braziers take less time to descend. Your goal is to ignite three braziers as quickly as possible: identify which is the largest to start with this one.
The ball to enter the hole
With Revelio, first find the hole not far from Merlin’s base, then the big ball that should be higher a little further on. Your goal is to use Repulso on the ball to make it tumble from the muddy slope to the hole.
Complete all types of Merlin’s puzzles
There are a total of 95 Merlin trials that must be completed in the open world to get the trophy
“By Merlin’s beard!” but only half is needed to unlock inventory enhancements. Also, don’t forget to stock up on Sweet Mallow before looking for them.
