There are a lot of puzzles added in this remake of Resident Evil 4, when not full gameplay sections, like this famous lake near the church where Ashley Graham is being held. To rescue the president’s daughter, you must roam the area and solve two not-so-simple little observation puzzles.
Great Cave Sanctuary
We’ll start with the most complicated. When you dock at the Great Cave Shrine you will be greeted by a good group of villagers, some of them equipped with sticks of dynamite. Get them out of the way before moving on and take an interest in the famous locked door. If you want to find the solution yourself, keep in mind that the symbols that indicate which buttons to press are painted directly on the rock of the cave in several places. The same principle is then repeated for the next puzzle. For the solution: counting clockwise, press buttons 2, 5 and 8, as shown in the picture below.
Cave Sanctuary in the north
This time, go to the small wharf in the far north of the lake. The principle remains exactly the same as before, locate yourself thanks to the yellow painted drawings on the rocks and walls of the area. If you’re not determined to search, press buttons 4, 6 and 7 to get the second head that gives access to the famous key of the church. It’s now time to get Ashley, so hurry back to the boat and then to the altar where you can place the two key objects you just found. By the way, don’t forget to complete the hexagonal coin puzzle to get his precious treasure.
