The new event Way of the Stars special Disney Parks is now available in Disney Dreamlight Valley thanks to the Lion King update. So it started on April 5 and will last until May 16, 2023. As a reminder, The Way of the Stars is a kind of Battle Pass found in free games like Overwatch 2 for example. While Disney is still in early access (and thus paid), it will borrow the free-to-play model by the end of 2023.
Free and paid rewards
As with the first seasons, this new Way of the Stars offers two possibilities:
- The free version : with only getting half the rewards and completing 3 missions at once,
- The paid version : with all rewards (often better) and 6 missions at a time to collect points
To upgrade to Premium, you need to spend 2500 Moon Stones.
Here are all the rewards that can be obtained if you collect all the points and the Premium version. The most interesting objects are undoubtedly the magical squirrel, the skins for Donald and Goofy and the furniture from Disney Parks, perfect to decorate your valley.
The list of missions and tips to complete them easily
To earn points and collect the various rewards of the event, you must complete the following missions:
- Pick 30 fruits (randomly)
- Remove 30 night thorns
- Mine 20 times with Mickey (while mining rocks)
- Start 3 chats with Goofy (requires 3 days)
- Put on personalized Mickey ears: go to the Wardrobe (inventory) and choose to create a unique piece of clothing yourself. Take “custom mickey ears” and apply the color and patterns of your choice.
- Give Merlin 4 favorite gifts (requires 2 days)
- Extract 25 aquamarines with Scrooge (you can find them on the Enchanted Beach and in the Forest of Courage)
- Serve 3 customers in the Chez Rémy restaurant
- Mine 15 ores on the Esplanade
- Collect 4000 star coins
- Collect 8 green upright penstemon (available from Tranquil Meadow)
- Complete 10 dream light missions
- Eat 10 waffles (recipe: wheat + milk + egg + sugar cane)
- Extract 2 Brilliant Garnets: Found on Esplanade and Prairie Tranquille
- Take a picture with Mirabel
- Give 4 favorite gifts to Ursula
- Sell 10 Bunuelos
- Serve 5 customers in the Chez Rémy restaurant
- Catch 10 shrimp (found on Enchanted Beach)
- Collect 8000 star coins
- Put on a personalized backpack: just like Mickey’s ears, you have to make it yourself through the wardrobe
- Start 2 daily chats with Donald
