If Valve has announced 3 AAA titles in VR and we know that the first, which will be released in March 2020, is none other than the highly anticipated and promising Half-Life: Alyx, then the second will probably be Left 4 Dead VR, yet a flagship title from Valve to which we also owe Portal, Team Fortress, Dota or even Counter Strike, which therefore includes the third VR game to come. It was the Valve News Network site that discovered the pot of roses while digging through the lines of SteamVR code.
Remember that Left 4 Dead is a title that can be played solo, but also and above all in cooperative multiplayer (it was voted the best cooperative game in 2008) with the aim of allowing a group of 4 characters to survive in an apocalyptic world where zombies are legion. are . A versus mode also offers competitive play, with some players then switching to the other side. As for Half-Life, the highly anticipated Episode 3 (Left 4 Dead 2 still dates back to 2009) should therefore be a VR version of the title. For now, however, no official information has been released and so we still don’t know the possible release date and the headsets involved, even if we suspect at least the HTC Vive, the Oculus, Rift and of course especially the Valve Index. But we’re still waiting for confirmation on all of this.
