Where can you find Titanosaurs in Ark?
THE Titanosaurus is a territorial herbivorous dinosaur that can be found all over the island, whichever one you are on. In general, he roams in mountainous regions. It is an exclusively terrestrial animal, very poor swimmer and clearly incapable of flight. It is especially recognizable by its crazy size: if you see a long tail, look no further: it is at the end!
THE Titanosaurus is not hostile at all, provided you do not encroach on its territory, it is content to passively wander the island if necessary. It never attacks other creatures or even the Survivor, but if attacked or even approached, it will retaliate and be sure of one thing: its size is proportional to its strength. Add to that the fact that it’s literally covered in a bony protrusion all over its body, and you’ve got one of the hardest dinosaurs to kill.
- Even one Giganotosaurus alone has no chance against a Titanosaurus !
Peculiarities of the Titanosaurus in Ark
- Destroyer: The titanic size of Titanosaurus allows him to destroy any type of structure, including Teks, in a split second by stepping on it. Its simple passage is enough to level entire forests to the ground, making it inarguably the greatest destroyer out there.
- Base: Because it’s huge, the Titanosaurus can serve as a forward base with many resources. Indeed, you can carry so much gear that it’s absolutely safe to let it roam around while you explore. Useful !
- Unique : This creature is particularly unique as there are only three on the same map Titanosaurs maximum can coexist.
Taming: how do you tame the Titanosaurus?
Because it is largely uncommon, the Titanosaurus clearly cannot be tamed like any other dinosaur. On the one hand, before embarking on this risky adventure, you should know that no matter what happens, the Titanosaurus cannot be fed once tamed, he will starve himself no matter what you do.
If, despite this problem, the adventure still tempts you, then you will have to knock him out by aiming huge projectiles at his head. To achieve this, we recommend using Cannonballsor even Cannonballs strengthens. The use of Rockets can also be considered, but you risk injuring him more seriously and thereby reducing your chances of winning him as an ally, even temporarily.
Because he is literally titanic, the Titanosaurus cannot be attacked head-on with “normal” dinosaurs. Instead, it is recommended that you use a Quetzal heavily armed (with guns on his back) and having to do it with several people, this will save you from being trampled by the colossus in no time.
If by some miracle you should succeed in your attempt, know that the Titanosaurus does not need to be fed to be tamed. Once you’re stunned, all you have to do is swipe to one Platform for Titanosaurus in its inventory to tame it. Once it’s done, the countdown begins and you only have 16 to 20 hours left to enjoy your new and very unconventional pet.
How to breed the Titanosaurus?
It’s simply impossible to get one Titanosaurus. The only way to get a new one is to find it in the wild, in nature.
