Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t just focus the gaming experience on the battles as the story, quests and puzzles are an integral part of the adventure. After all, there are relatively few real bosses. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t great challenges to complete, such as the Dark Magic Battle Arena. Playing on hard mode also forces you to play more or less correctly, as the life bar is depleted in just a few hits.
Warning, spoilers!
List of Hogwarts Legacy bosses
Here are the game’s bosses, in chronological order of their encounter. However, this is not absolute, since some of them face side quests, which can be completed after completing the story.
Armored troll
The game’s first boss bursts into Hogsmeade’s main square. It also serves as a tutorial for trolls and offensive ancient magic. Beating him will make you a feared local celebrity, which may be why people say nothing when you enter their house after breaking the lock and looting their most prized possessions.
pensive goalkeeper
This great golem has mastered magic, allowing him to send destructive energy balls, light waves and the like. But it is an obstacle you must overcome to prove yourself in the eyes of the guards. A more powerful version of this boss, equipped with a flail, awaits you during the second test.
acromentula
There are giant spiders all over Hogwarts Legacy, so it’s no wonder you end up running into the super-repulsive, super-dangerous XXL version. Burning the entire area in combat is a valid tactic, as she’s not alone. Note in passing that you will encounter this boss more than once.
Fastidio and Cassandra Mason’s Monster (PS5)
The quest exclusive to Playstation consoles includes not one, but outright two bosses. With a large pile of crates on one side, aided by a poltergeist and puppets, and an evil witch on the other. It would be a shame to miss this very long quest.
Gracorn horn
It’s not easy to tame the Lord of the Shores to make him your horse and win the third trial. To befriend this proud animal, you must find a common language: violence.
Victor Rookwood
The leader of the poachers and black magicians of this time is not Voldemort, but Rookwood, a dandy with questionable clothing. He hates children but loves company, so be prepared for a big battle, where forbidden spells will fly low.
Rannrok dragon
Even enriched with corrupted ancient magic, a goblin isn’t a very impressive boss. So he’s doing us a favor by turning into a big dark demonic dragon that really makes you drool. The final boss is by far the hardest fight, and that’s a good thing. With this guide you should be able to finish the adventure without reducing the difficulty.
