Unlock access to Genshin Impact’s Spices from the West event
To access the event, you must meet the following requirements:
- Adventure level 20 or higher required to prepare seasonings
- Adventure level 28 or higher and complete the “Tea Chat” quest to be able to cook the required dishes and invite characters to taste them.
Once these conditions are met, it’s not over, because you have to too do the world quest titled “A Visitor from the West: A Taste of Freedom”. It’s not very complicated to do. You just have to go to the town of Mondstadt to talk to Sara.
What to do during the Genshin Impact event?
As said above, you will have to cook recipes by playing a mini game and swap dishes you have with a shard to make a superior version of that same dish which you will simply have to give to your allies in your inner kingdom. To gift them, just talk to them and you’ll be given the “Taste me this” option.

To make this recipe you will need:
- 1 pepper
- 2 onions
- 1 milk
Third recipe: universally balanced
For this recipe you need the following ingredients:
- 1 snapdragon
- 2 Mint
- 1 pine cone
