After defeating the blind monster in the dungeons and countering the catapults outside the castle, you must enter the treasure room in Resident Evil 4 Remake. But before that you have to solve a little riddle with swords, here is the solution.
We continue our small list of puzzles that give players trouble in this remake of Resident Evil 4, this time with access to the treasure room sealed by a new grid. The corresponding puzzle is quite easy to solve, but if you don’t want to take your head, here’s the direct solution, in video and in detail.
How do you get the missing sword?
When entering the room, don’t look directly at the gate and instead head to the left side of the room, or another gate will prevent you from reaching the bottom. To open it, you will have to activate the 3 bells with symbols identical to those of the slot, namely: deer, bird and snake. The deer bell is directly to your left, while the bird bell in the back of the room is on the same side. Shooting it fast enough will open the gate and you can grab the famous sword that is missing from the carvings.
In what order should the swords be placed?
The solution is not indicated far in a book of the famous wall on which you can use swords, just like the padlock of the mayor’s house.
- First Engraving: iron sword
- Second Engraving: gold sword
- Third Engraving: bloody sword
- fourth engraving: rusty sword
