Dictame Sheets are relatively uncommon in the Hogwarts Legacy open world, so you’ll need them badly. Here’s all the information you need to stock up.
Where can you find Dictame?
In the wild, Dictame seems very rare, but we’ve already encountered them in main scenario dungeons or during side quests. You have to turn to two other methods to get much more.
Your first option is to buy some from merchants such as the Magic turnip Hogsmeade, which offers 2 to 100 galleons each. Other vendors of potions and ingredients in hamlets sometimes have them too. You can also get some from the Hogwarts greenhouse near the Bulbille’s classroom. But this is definitely not enough for the sequel, so we have to fall back on the second option.
The viable long-term solution is to grow your own Dictame. And that’s a good thing, because on your first visit to Hogsmeade you’ll need to buy everything you need. This includes Dictame Seeds, obtained from Magic Turnip, and a Créasort. Make sure thatbuy at least one Créasort small planters you need it from the seller.
Once the Room of Requirement is unlocked, all you need to do is grow Dictame Leaves in a small planter. You get some 5 every 10 minutes (6 with fertilizer), so with two or three pots you should be able to grow enough Dictame without ever risking running out.
Usefulness of dictation sheets
It’s a pity, but the ingredients are usually only used for one recipe in Hogwarts Legacy, sometimes two. In the case of Dictame Leaves, this is the must-have Wiggenweld potion, which restores some of your health when you’re drunk. It’s literally a life saver, especially on high difficulty, unless you play incredibly well, it’s the only way to survive the toughest fights like the final boss in the game. will be made up most often, so a large supply of Dictame is needed for that. Growing it is therefore not optional.
