Diablo 4 Hydra Chain Lightning Sorcerer Build: The Most Powerful Specialization In The Beta?

For those who fancy rolling over the bosses and enemy packs of Diablo 4, here’s an OP build for the Sorcerer, based on Lightning, Ice, and Fire. Here you can place your talent points, enchantment and more to beat the open beta.
While the Barbarians fight the bosses of the Diablo 4 beta, the Sorcerers are almost in the summer camp next door. This is especially true for their best builds. The Ice Build and the Fire Build do very well, but the Lightning Build offered here allows you to progress very easily, without getting tired or needing fantastic equipment.

Talents and spells
Here is our proposal for the distribution of the first talent points, to make the low-level Build work. Alternatives can be chosen, and you can then invest in passives, or additional ranks for primary spells as you approach level 25. It’s not quite rigid. The priority is to learn new spells whenever possiblebefore improving the old one.
- Electric whisk > Reinforced Electric Whip > Later you can take Lightning Electric Whip if you feel like it.
- necklace lightning > Reinforced Lightning Chain > Superior Lightning Chain
- Teleportation > Later you can use Enhanced Teleport and Blazing Teleport.
- ice armor > Reinforced ice armor > Later, mystical ice armor
- Hydra > Empowered Hydra > Conjured Hydra or Summoned Hydra
- Frost Nova > Empowered Frost Nova > Mystical Frost Nova
Enchantment
At level 15, you unlock a quest that allows you to choose a spell that passively grants you a specific bonus. You are spoiled for choice, the possibilities are endless. Here are a few suggestions:
- necklace lightning : A chain lightning is automatically formed when you spend 100 mana points. More lightning is always good.
- fire shield : Activates automatically when you take damage that would kill you. This effect can only occur once every 120 seconds. This is usually a choice for Extreme mode characters.
- Frost Nova : Your wizarding skills have a 30% chance of casting a frost nova when they hit the opponent. Hydras throws Novas, anyone? Very interesting to maintain the vulnerability of bosses and torment them.
Legendary powers and aspects
Powers are no longer necessarily tied to specific objects. Here’s a list of powers we’ve encountered that are perfect for this build:
- This will allow you to summon an extra active Hydra, but will shorten its duration.
- The duration of loss of control effects you inflict is increased and you deal more damage to unstoppable opponents.
- You deal more damage to immobilized, stun, or frozen targets.
- You deal more damage to vulnerable targets when under the influence of a barrier.
- Each time Chain Lightning bounces off you, you gain 4 mana.
