Where can you find Terror Birds in Ark?
The Bird-Terror is a carnivorous creature that rather appreciates tropical areas: you will generally find it in swampy areas, regardless of the island you are on. It is an exclusively terrestrial animal, it is not a very good swimmer and can only glide but, strictly speaking, certainly not fly. It is generally smaller than most theropods, and its appearance as a large bird makes it especially recognizable from quite a distance.
The Earthbird is very hostile and will attack any creature it sees near or far and will have no qualms about pursuing you relentlessly until it kills you. Also, watch out, since he’s really fast once he starts running, it’s better to be able to kill him than to run away from him!
Peculiarities of the Terrorbird in Ark
- Explorer: The Terrorbird is a very fast creature on Ark, although it is slower than a Gallimimus, it can roam large areas in no time and all without taking too many risks as few large predators can match it in terms of speed

Taming: how to tame the Terror Bird?
Taming the Bird-Terror really isn’t the most complex, the only difficulty is keeping Torpor’s level low enough throughout the process. The idea is simply to put him to sleep using Tranquilizer Arrows and then administer an acceptable amount Narcotics or from Narcoberries until he is tamed.
Plan a good stock of Narcotics or from Narcoberries and increased surveillance: the Torpor of the Bird-Terror goes out quickly and it shouldn’t wake up because you weren’t paying attention.
As for food, due to its carnivorous nature, this creature is especially fond of regular kibble and mutton.
How do you breed the Terror Bird?
The reproduction of the Bird-Terror requires the presence of a male and a female of this species in the same room.
