Will SWAT return with season 6, episode 9?

SWAT Season 6 Episode 8 Recap

The mid-season finale of SWAT airs on Season 6 Episode 8. Nischelle discovered a break-in when she arrived at her workplace. When the burglar heard her, he or she gave in, but she was able to escape to an office, where she closed the door and contacted the police. They tried to break in, but one of the intruders calmed the other down and then everyone ran away.

Where did the young people go and what did they find? Will Nischelle no longer feel safe in her workplace? Meanwhile, Hondo and the SWAT squad were called to a food truck festival where a shootout had escalated into a robbery. One of the four attackers was injured and is now hiding behind a food truck. Whenever the police got close, he started shooting.

After the chaos subsided, SWAT determined that the suspects were looking for drugs. They suspected a drug fight when they discovered cocaine hidden in avocados. The group was determined to stop them because their belligerence was so deadly.

The police talked to Ernie, the main owner of a food truck in the area (played by Michael DeLorenzo). Those close to him believed he was behind the attack in an attempt to eliminate rivals.
