What was Lisa Marie Presley’s cause of death?
According to TMZ, Elvis and Priscilla’s only child went into cardiac arrest on Jan. 12 at her home in Calabasas, California. One story claims rescuers resuscitated her before rushing her to the hospital.
Although paramedics managed to get a pulse back for Lisa Marie, her mother broke the news that she had passed away later that night. For Priscilla, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” she wrote in a statement to People.

Following Lisa’s death, Graceland’s Instagram account also posted a statement saying, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are stunned and saddened by the untimely death of their darling Lisa Marie. They want to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers at this time of great sorrow by asking for privacy.
However, an official cause of death has not been disclosed. TMZ reported on January 13 that she died of a second heart attack. The news source claims her family signed a DNR order after she was diagnosed with brain death.
