When will Lockwood & Co season 2 be released on Netflix?

America has been lucky enough to have Ghostbusters who can call themselves their own in the battle against alien ghosts. But what about us? You know, even Brits experience ghosts!

Fortunately, with the release of Lockwood & Co., a new adaptation of Jonathan Stroud’s YA book series, Netflix has leveled the playing field across the pond. The only “problem” we have with Attack the Block’s Joe Cornish on board is that eight episodes isn’t enough for season one.

Lockwood & Co Season 2 Release Date and Expected Characters

Within one or two months of the debut of a new show, Netflix usually announces an extension. This can be done from start to finish take 12 to 18 months. Season Two of Lockwood & Co. will likely debut in the spring of 2024 if the show is lucky enough to receive that sweet renewal news.

However, the Netflix version will need to rack up some significant viewing stats if there’s a chance to return for more, as the streaming service recently embarked on what we can only call a cancellation binge.

Ben Crompton as Julius Winkman could also return, but only if he escapes prison after what happened in the season one conclusion. Luke Treadaway, who played The Golden Blade, a mysterious mercenary connected to Lockwood’s dead parents begging to be investigated, is likely to make a comeback in season two.

And through that, we can also glimpse the parents, perhaps in ghosts or flashbacks. But it is still unclear how they can be cast.
