Will Alan Autry star in Tulsa King?
Sure enough, Alan Autry appears briefly in Episode 8 of Tulsa King. In the season finale, he plays Brian Gillen, Margaret’s ex-husband who encounters Dwight at the Fennario Ranch.
His supporters will be thrilled to see Alan back on screens as he plays a damn difficult role. The 70-year-old American actor, politician and ex-NFL player is most remembered for his role as Captain Bubba Skinner in In the Heat of the Night.
Newer programs he appeared in include Hart of Dixie (where he played Mayor Gainey) and Style & Substance (where he played Marion “Butch” McMann) (Earl). Considering how infrequently he appears on screen (his last appearance prior to Tulsa King was in 2017), needless to say, he’ll be returning in this capacity.
