It’s a sad day for the Patridge family as news of the death of Audrina Patridge’s niece has been made public. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
A former member of The Hills wrote on Instagram on Feb. 14 that her 15-year-old niece Sadie had passed away. No one knows what caused the death.
“My heart aches to even write this,” Audrina began her post, which was accompanied by a collection of photos of Sadie over the years. “My beautiful niece is now in heaven. I know it’s not goodbye forever, but it’s the hardest part to say goodbye right now.”
Casey Patridge is Sadie’s mother and Audrina’s sister. Loza was also very sad about the loss.
“Sadie Raine Loza has left this earth for heaven,” she wrote. “Writing this was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”

Casey told Sadie a lesson she loved to remind her of often. She said she didn’t have the right words, but she shared it anyway.
“The first law of thermodynamics, also called the law of conservation of energy, works in all areas of life…’Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another’ she wrote. “Transformation is a better word than death.”
Casey added, “Her story will save countless lives, her memory will never be forgotten. Rest in peace you brilliant starseed.”
The news of Sadie’s death comes a week after Casey shared a photo from her daughter’s 15th birthday party. At the time, she sent Sadie’s friends and family a video of her blowing out her candles.
“Can’t believe you’re 15,” Casey wrote on Instagram on Feb. 5. “It feels like the years have flown by and we still have so many adventures to go! aliens in sedona, portals, learning to drive in the desert hahah.”
Casey not only painted a picture of their dreams for the future together, but also of Sadie’s legacy.
“You are so beautiful, kind, smart and funny!! that dry British humour,’ she continued. “I’m so proud to be your mother.”
