If you’ve bought a Celsius drink in the past seven years, you might be able to get some cash. According to WJZthe company was taken to court after promoting that it does not use preservatives, but uses citric acid.
Celsius said citric acid is used as a flavoring agent, not as a way to keep food fresh, but the matter was settled anyway. Hezi v. Celsius Holdings was the name of the case and was heard in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. It was the case that it had number 1:21-CV-09892-VM.
Under the terms of the settlement, an individual is eligible for compensation if he is between the dates of January 1, 2015 and November 23, 2022.

You can get up to $250 if you have a receipt or other proof of purchase. You can still get $20 even if you don’t have a receipt. A press release states that the deadline for filing a claim is February 1. Visit the website associated with the class action lawsuit to file a claim.

According to a report by the Associated PressEarlier this month, it was found that Celsius had broken a contract the company had with the musician Flo Rida, resulting in the $82.6 million award to Flo Rida. The entertainer alleged that the company violated an endorsement agreement.
“Basically, I helped set up this company, and all we were looking for was reliable people who acted like they were family,” the entertainer told the AP. “And then when it comes to today’s success, they just forgot about me.”
