Three people, including a baby, die in a road accident in Warrego near Oakey

Three people, including a 1-year-old daughter, were killed in a collision west of Brisbane involving two trucks and a car.

Three people were killed in a horrific collision on the Warrego Highway west of Brisbane after their car was hit by two trucks, including a one-year-old girl.

This is reported by the Queensland Policethe three victims were pronounced dead at approximately 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at the scene of the accident on the Oakey Creek Bridge on Warrego Highway.

A 36-year-old passenger who was in the vehicle’s fourth seat suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He supports the police investigation.

They all came from Roma, a town in western Queensland.

According to the police(According to the report), the truck traveling in the other direction hit the eastbound car first before the second truck hit it.

“The sedan … sustained significant damage in the impact,” police said.

A 20-year-old Kearneys Spring man driving the truck westbound was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 55-year-old Brendale man who drove the vehicle east was unharmed and is assisting police in their investigation.

The Forensic Crash Unit has asked witnesses, particularly anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the crash or the seconds leading up to it, to come forward as they will investigate the cause of the crash.

Drivers are being asked to find an alternative route between Dalby and Toowoomba as the critical highway is expected to be closed for some time.
