Shauna Robertson was born in Markham, Ontario, Canada, on December 18, 1974 – her zodiac sign is Sagittarius and she is a Canadian national. She is a movie producerbut probably better known to the public as the wife of American actor Edward Norton.
Early life and education
Shauna was raised alongside her two sisters in Markham by their father, who was a handgliding instructor, and their mother, who was a yoga instructor; both parents were lazy and irresponsible people, which led to Shauna becoming an organized person as she often had to tidy things up around the house.
She attended a local high school where she became interested in acting and later in producing films, and at the age of 16, with her parents’ consent, she dropped out of school. moved alone to Los Angeles in California, USA to pursue her dream of becoming a producer.
Upon arriving in LA, Shauna took on various jobs to support herself financially, all the while trying to launch her career.
Career as a film producer
Shauna’s first ‘real’ job was when she worked for award-winning film director and producer Mike Binder as his assistant after the two met at Camp Tamakwa. Mike produced the 1993 comedy film “Indian Summer”, which is about the camp and their encounter.
Shortly after, Shauna met Edward Norton and they started dating. After being together for five years, Edward proposed to Shauna in 2011 and they married in a small ceremony in April 2012, attended by only the closest friends and family of the two. They now live together in Los Angeles with their son Atlas Norton.
Before Shauna, Edward briefly dated the actress Courtney Michelle Love in 1996 and helped her get close to her daughter Frances Bean Cobain. In 1999, Edward started dating Salma Hayek, a famous Mexican-American actress and film producer, and they were together until 2003.

Edward grew up alongside his younger brother and sister James and Molly in Columbia, Maryland where they were raised by their mother Lydia ‘Robin’ Robinson who taught English at a high school and died in 1997, and their father Edward Mower Norton Jr. , who was a US Marine who served in Vietnam before becoming a lawyer in Asia. Edward became interested in acting after seeing a play with his parents when he was five years old, while he was eight when he made his debut in a play in “Annie Get Your Gun”. He won an acting trophy at Camp Pasquaney in Hebron, New Hampshire in 1984.
Edward attended Wilde Lake High School and then enrolled at Yale College where he graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
