The third season of the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, otherwise known as the “Swordsmith Village” arc, is set to premiere in early 2023, and the show’s creators have revealed some exciting plans leading up to the premiere.
A new trailer for Demon Slayer has been released on the Aniplex USA YouTube channel, as reported by Anime Corner. The video is a retrospective of the series, told through filmstrips with patterned borders that change to suit the subject.
Season 1 will premiere in April 2019 and Season 2 will begin in 2020, with the release of the anime movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and the “Entertainment District” arc episodes. Later, the clip shifts to the more subdued Mist Hashira and the more upbeat Love Hashira. Ufotable returns for the debut of the “Swordsmith Village” arc in April 2023.
The third season of “The Demon Slayer” is now playing in previews. Still, there’s more where that came from for Demon Slayer fans. An exclusive screening of the first episode in the “Swordsmith Village” arc was announced for the anime.

Episodes 10 and 11, “Never Give Up” and “No Matter How Many Lives”, will be shown to fans in over 80 countries as part of the “Kimetsu no Yaiba — World Tour Screening” beginning February 3, 2023, followed by a one-hour special of the season 3 premiere episode.
The film opens in Japan on March 3 with English subtitles and dubs in the United States and Canada. The tour continues to other European and Asian cities through March 19: Taiwan. Special guests such as producer Yma Takahashi, voice actor Natsuki Hanae and Aimer, Season 2’s opening theme singer, will be present at each screening.
A red carpet premiere will be held at the Orpheum Theater on February 18th to celebrate the upcoming release of the second season of the anime, Demon Slayer, which will be shown around the world on March 3rd. Hanae, Takahashi and Aimer are all set to make appearances and perform at the event. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster on January 7.
Once the 2019 anime version of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Demon Slayer aired, the book and accompanying artwork became an instant hit around the world. The serialization of Demon Slayer began in February 2016 and will be completed around May 2020.
As of February 2021, it has sold over 150 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. After one of Gotouge’s writings was rejected as a series, the author was advised to write something with an “easy to understand theme”.

Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of this novel; he becomes a demon slayer after Muzan Kibutsuji kills his family and turns his sister into a monster. Tanjiro’s acts of generosity towards others, both human and demonic, remain unwavering despite his personal tragedy.
Ultimately, Demon Slayer’s story is about human grief, hope, and perseverance, all themes that are likely to resonate with a wide audience. The “Swordsmith Village” arc of Demon Slayer will debut in April 2023. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation offer streaming access to the first two seasons.
