After having surgery for an ankle problem, Stephanie McMahon posted a photo of herself lying in bed at the hospital.
Stephanie was seen laughing and waving from her bed in an Instagram snap as she wore a cast on her leg. The caption of the image read: “Busy week! Thank you, Dr. Waldrop, @andrews_sports_medicine and the Orthopedic Center staff for fixing my ankle!”
“And to @wilk_kevin @championsportsmedicine for already getting me started with rehab! (And of course to my wonderful caregiver @TripleH ❤️) #RoadtoRecovery.”

Stephanie said this in a statement she shared on Twitter: “About 8 months ago I took a leave of absence and within a few weeks I unexpectedly had the opportunity of a lifetime.”

“I was privileged to return as Co-CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of WWE. I cannot put into words how proud I am to have led what I consider to be the greatest company in the world, along with a remarkable leadership team and one of the strongest executives I have known in my co-CEO, Nick Khan.”
“Our founder, Vince McMahon, has returned as executive chairman and is leading an exciting process on strategic alternatives. And with the leadership of Nick and Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque as Chief Content Officer, I’m very confident WWE is in the perfect place to continue to provide unparalleled creative content and generate maximum shareholder value.”
“WWE is in such a strong position that I have decided to return to furlough and go one step further with my official resignation. I look forward to cheering on WWE from the other side of the business, where I started when I was a little kid, as a pure fan.”
