Tom Brady took the professional sports world by storm last week when he announced that he would once again retire (for good) after his one-season comeback (and third season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
The three-time NFL MVP made the announcement in a short, but beautiful video he filmed while sitting on the beach in Surfside, a Miami Beach neighborhood near the Indian Creek estate he and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen own in 2020 bought.

The video marks the end of an era – and a career – in which Brady won seven Super Bowl titles over the course of 23 seasons. Now, thanks to an enthusiastic eBay seller, fans can commemorate the moment.

EBay user ‘Gadgetgs’ does one of two sales pots of sand where Brady created his announcement, with the starting bid starting at $677 as a nod to Brady’s career-high 677 touchdowns.
At the time of writing, the pot has 119 bids, with the highest bid being $99,900. The next bidder would have to bid $100,000 or more to win the prize.
“You will receive an 8 oz mason jar bottled with the exact sand the GOAT Tom Brady shot his retirement video on,” the seller promised. “You shall possess the land to which the GOAT retreated.”
The seller said he would provide video evidence of the sand being collected upon request, noting that eBay does not allow sellers to upload videos to its platform.

The second sample taken from the beach is sent to longtime Brady fan “Boston Connor”, one of the hosts of the YouTube hit The Pat McAfee Show “if [he] want to hold it,” said the seller.
The sand bidding ends on Super Bowl Sunday, which falls on February 11 when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Other eBay sellers have jumped on the bandwagon, claiming to sell jars of sand from the same beach, ranging in price from $1,000 to $15,000, though the original listing appears to be the only one to offer video evidence of the sand being bottled.
Upon his retirement, Brady will sign a deal with Fox Sports as the network’s lead sports analyst in a contract reported to span 10 years and $375 million.
“There’s so much to learn, there’s so much to learn, you know, it’s always evolving. Believe me, no matter how much you think I want people to learn, I’m really looking to learn,” said the NFL star . about the new appearance last week on his podcast Let’s go! with guest Stephen A. Smith.
The value of Tom Brady is one estimated $250 million, according Net worth of celebrities.
