Lingo, a word game show, is expected to premiere on CBS. The program returns on Wednesday, January 11 at 9 PM ET and is hosted by famed American drag queen RuPaul Charles, who also serves as an executive producer. RuPaul’s net worth is reportedly $60 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He gets at least $50,000 every episode as the host of RuPaul’s Drag Race, a famous drag queen contest. While it’s unknown how much money RuPaul makes from his annual DragCon conference, Stylecaster revealed in 2019 that his cosmetics companies made more than $8 million from the event.

RuPaul, the host of Lingo, was the first drag queen signed by MAC Cosmetics.

RuPaul was born on November 17, 1960 in San Diego, California. At the age of 15, he traveled to Atlanta with his sister to pursue performing arts. He suffered a lot in the early 1980s until he had his big break in 1989 when he was featured in the Love Shack music video. RuPaul’s 1993 album Supermodel of the World debuted at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has since released other music albums, including Back to My Roots, A Shade Shady, Foxy Lady, Butch Queen, and Slay Belles.

RuPaul was the first drag queen signed by MAC Cosmetics and began hosting The RuPaul Show on VH 1 in 1996, featuring several musical guests. The show ran for two seasons. In February 2009, he debuted RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo (later moved to VH1). The popular series spawned many spin-off shows, including RuPaul’s Drag U, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, and RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race.

He also appeared in a number of movies, including The Brady Bunch Movie, But I’m a Cheerleader, and Hurricane Bianca. RuPaul has been married to Georges LeBar for five years and has been in a relationship with him for 23 years. They are currently in an open marriage. RuPaul currently broadcasts the podcast RuPaul: What’s The Tee? With Michelle Visage, where he gives advice on life and beauty.

Lingo, a new CBS game show, premieres January 11.

The popular game show Lingo is already available in 17 countries, including France and the United Kingdom. The series returns to American television screens for the fourth time, with two teams attempting to identify five-letter words to win a substantial cash prize. According to an earlier version of the game, contestants are given the first letter of the word and must guess the whole word. The lights of the board turn red if the correct letter is guessed, and yellow if the alphabet is in the word but placed incorrectly. If the alphabet is not in the word, no lights will turn on.

Contestants must guess the correct word within a certain time, otherwise a point is awarded to the other party. Objective Media Group, Triple Brew Media and RuCo Inc. produce lingo. The program is already accessible in digital formats such as Facebook games and apps. Lingo debuts on CBS on Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. ET. The new episodes of the program will be available on the network’s website and on Paramount+ the day after they air on television.
