Robbie Knievel, daredevil and son of stuntman Evel Knievel, has passed away. A family member says that Robbie spent his last days in hospice after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. His daughters were with him when he died early Friday morning.
The stuntman Robert “Evel” Knievel and his first wife, Linda, had a son named Robbie Knievel. Knievel was the third child of four, with two boys and two girls. He is named after his father’s father. Knievel has two daughters, Krysten and Karmen.
Analise and Kane are his granddaughter and grandson. Robbie, also known as ‘Kaptain Robbie Knievel’, followed in his father’s footsteps at an early age.

He hopped on his bike when he was just 4 years old, and he first performed at his father’s show at Madison Square Garden when he was 8. In the rest of his career he did more than 350 jumps, 20 of which were world records.
One of the most memorable things he did was jump the fountains at Caesars Palace in 1989. His father had previously tried to do the same, but failed.

Robbie also did the 30 limousine jump, the Grand Canyon jump, and the USS Intrepid jump, just to name a few, all dangerous stunts.
In 2011 he did his last stunt at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, CA. He jumped 150 feet above trucks with trailers. Robbie also had a short-lived role in the 2005 show “Knievel’s wild ride”, which showed how he and his crew prepare for his crazy stunts.
