RHOP fans assume Candiace Dillard is expecting her first child

Real Housewives of Potomac hasn’t been the same since Season 3, when Candiace Dillard was added to the cast. She’s making waves left and right, and we couldn’t be happier. While several of the RHOP ladies have children of their own, Candiace and her husband Chris Bassett have yet to start a family. While Chris already had children from a previous relationship, Candiace was about to start a family of her own.

Candiace has taken to Twitter to dispel pregnancy rumors that have been circulating lately. Candiace Dillard teased followers on Feb. 21 that she might be working on something new, and it wasn’t a kid.

“I am not [f*cking] pregnant. Stop asking. Stop assuming. Stop postulating,” she tweeted. “It’s rude, tasteless and triggering for people who really want to get pregnant and can’t (I can’t, before you do that to me too). IF & when I am w/ child, you will all be the last to know and then we can celebrate.

RHOP fans assume Candiace Dillard is expecting her first child

Candiace went on to say that, in her experience, others don’t always appreciate the magnitude of pregnancy and the subsequent arrival of a new human into the world. “It’s also just annoying because in many ways I feel like society is downplaying having kids,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Not childbirth, which I think is highly coveted and treated with great care, but the actual ACT of BRINGING UP children is downplayed.”

“The proof is in the half-grown kids running around here with no cognition and people skills who are being raised by the TV and the iPad and the iPhone and their grandmother and everyone but you because that’s hard and you don’t really want to do it,” added Candiace. “So forgive me while I take my time.”

There have been talks about having kids with Candiace and her husband on The Real Housewives of Potomac, but Candiace wants to focus on other things first. I wasn’t ready to give this tirade. Anyway, there you have it, Candiace concluded in a fourth tweet. Let the bastard fall out of my womb even though I know you seem to own me as you watch the four minute movies of my life playing repeatedly on your media devices.

Many of Candace’s followers agreed that having children was a positive choice. “I have a PHD, but have decided to become a stay-at-home mom. I’ve never been so undervalued. But in the end I’m raising a human being. And he’s a good boy. But it is difficult!!! I have more respect when people realize this and say, ‘I’ll wait!’” replied one Twitter user.

“VERY TRUE. Some of us don’t want kids and it’s weird to make people feel like they *should* have kids,” added one more. “Why should I have children if I don’t feel like it? It is a huge responsibility and should not be taken lightly. I’ll be the nice aunt and babysitter, but I don’t want kids.

Heartbreaking update on the hospitalization of Wendy Osefo’s daughter

Wendy Osefo announced on October 28 that she would not appear on The Real. “One minute I’m going to LA to be a guest @therealdaytime and the next minute I have to rush my daughter to the emergency room,” Wendy wrote on Instagram. “When life gives you lemons (however bitter) you make a glass of lemonade.”

In other news related to the Real Housewives of Potomac, Robyn Dixon revealed that she’s been doing much better since opening up about her battle with depression during the height of the pandemic. “I feel a lot better, thanks to many viewers of the show who have shown so much support and understanding,” she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. John ‘I regretted being so harsh’ she said of his treatment of her.

Juan and Robyn have two sons together; during their relationship they have been married, divorced, reconciled and re-engaged. It’s inspiring that the couple was able to work through their differences and stay together. Robyn announced at the end of August that she and her family had moved into a new home.

On Instagram, Robyn gushed, “New home sweet home.” We are incredibly blessed, and for that I am eternally grateful. God, I thank you for the resilience to face adversity and the opportunities to grow that come with it.

As Gizelle Bryant put it, “Love Love Love,” she posted. In addition, Robyn expressed gratitude to her audience for their encouraging messages during the broadcast of her “pandemic blues” story.

“THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who reached out to me about my pandemic blues (as shared on #RHOP),” she captioned a selfie. “I’ve heard from so many people sending love, support and encouragement and even more people who identify with my story and have been through exactly the same thing.”
