Pont-Désir Hogwarts Legacy: How to Solve Merlin’s Trial in the Hamlet?

After Campolard-en-Bas with Natsai, one of the first hamlets you’ll visit in Hogwarts Legacy is none other than the iconic Pont desire already extensively presented during the gameplay showcase. On site you will of course find a Moon of Demiguise, some chests but also a formidable test from Merlin.

What to do with Merlin de Pont-Désir’s riddle?

1. Activate the test with a little soft mauve,
2. Usage Revelio to identify two very important elements in blue: a kind of spherical plate behind the bridge, on the other side of the river, and a ball behind the saleswoman’s stall,
3. Your goal is as follows: put the ball in the hole on the other side of the bridge.

How do you catch the ball in the circle?

You’ll see this riddle quite regularly in Merlin’s trials and sometimes you’ll even have to let the ball go up a ramp to get it to the hole! In the case of the Pont-Désir puzzle, go to the orb behind the saleswoman and use Repellent push (Accio does not work). Use the wooden springboard to get past it and continue to the bridge.

Take her as best you can to the circle behind the bridge (you have to cross it). You’ll have to wield your spell with skill, but don’t worry, the edges won’t allow the ball to fall into the river. Don’t hesitate to juggle between Repulso to push her forward and Glacius or Stop momentum to stop her when she goes too fast.
