Pikmin 4 release date: The tide has finally turned and now Pikmin fans around the world will see the sun again. Before the Nintendo Direct in September, Nintendo hadn’t said anything about when Pikmin 4 would be released since 2017.

When is Pikmin 4 coming out?
The date that Pikmin 4 will be released on July 21, 2023. We know this because Nintendo said this in a February 2023 Nintendo Direct. After The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes out, it will be one of the big summer games for the Nintendo Switch.

The first time I played Pikmin 4, I saw a style of play that I’ve seen before. But that dog will help you get around, and we can see our astronaut moving between levels on the ground by walking on walls.

The Charming Oatchi appears in the Pikmin 4 trailer
The short Pikmin 4 trailer adds to what was said about the game when it was first shown in September 2022. Your main character’s spaceship lands in someone’s backyard and he or she then takes charge of a large group of Pikmin .
The gameplay video showed a bunch of red Pikmin breaking through a wall of dirtYellow Pikmin wearing goggles and Ice Pikmin freezing and smashing an enemy into a pile of ice cubes.
The trailer also shows that your character, Shepherd, will have an important canine friend named Oatchi who will help him in a lot of platforming. Oatchi is used to move animals, take your Pikmin over shallow pools of water, find lost people, and other ways to move your character as safely as possible.
Towards the end of the trailer, a large orange creature with large glowing red eyes walks towards the screen. It seems that something in the game will make the bad guys angry. We don’t yet know if there will be any special editions or pre-order bonuses for Pikmin 4 for Nintendo Switch, but hopefully we’ll find out soon.
