Early life, family, educational background
Jessica Clements was born on December 31, 1993 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She has a self-titled YouTube channel where she posts videos about hair, beauty and fashion. In 2012, Jessica began dating fellow YouTuber Erik Conover, after they met on a modeling job.
Jessica was featured on Erik’s YouTube channel a few times before they broke up in 2016. Apart from Erik, she keeps all aspects of her romantic life private and has advised her fans to keep their personal lives private as well so that negative influences and rumors can be avoided. In 2019, a 40-year-old man sent Jessica a photo of himself standing in the lobby of her old apartment building; he was arrested and charged with stalking. According to Page Six, the man said he was able to find her old apartment by watching her YouTube videos and eventually putting together the location.
Page Six went on to say that Jessica’s manager, Max Hirsch, had contacted the man and warned him to “leave her alone and not contact her in any way.” Max said the man’s reply contained a death threat. The man was charged with a felony and released upon his acknowledgment, and Jessica was issued a protection order prohibiting the man from contacting or approaching her. She also moved out of her apartment.

Jessica has a pet parrot, which she named Picasso. Growing up, her family always had birds in the house and Jessica went to the pet store to buy toys and food for the birds.
On one visit, she fell in love with an Amazon parrot, but the parrot had already been purchased by the time her family was ready for another bird. Just like in a fairy tale, Picasso found his way to Jessica – the owners heard that Jessica’s parents had a shelter for “problem birds” and brought Picasso to them. According to Jessica and her family, the previous owners did not treat Picasso well and he developed disobedient behavior. The story has a happy ending, as Jessica and Picasso became best friends right away.
She has said that when she visits her family, her father always plays her YouTube videos on their home television and exclaims, “Look who’s on TV!”
People often confuse her with British actress and TV presenter Jessica-Jane Clements, who is eight years older. Her favorite foods are carbonara and bolognese, and she’s cut coffee from her diet.
