Morfydd Clark was born in Sweden on March 17, 1989, but when she was seven, she moved with her family to Penarth, Wales, where her mother became a doctor and her Northern Irish Glasgow father worked as a software programmer.
Clark enrolled in a Welsh language school with her sister while leaving Penarth; Clark soon realized she had dyslexia and ADHD; by the time Clark was 14, the pills had left her deeply depressed, and 2 years later her mother forced her to drop out of school and spend a month at home just laying around and doing nothing.
