Michael John Clarke, a former Australian cricketer and former Australia captain who played in all formats of the game, was born on April 2, 1981. When his side defeated New Zealand in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup final at the CWM, he led Australia to his sixth victory in the tournament. Clarke was first selected for Australia in Twenty20 Internationals and served as captain of Australia’s Twenty20 cricket side in January 2011. After retiring from international competition, Shane Warne handed him his 23 year old ODI squad number.
