Amy feels conflicted about reuniting with her ex-husband, Matt, to help out on his farm after all the tension that has built up there. In this sneak peek of the next episode of Little People, Big World, airing Tuesday, Amy discusses with husband Chris her decision to volunteer at the farm during pumpkin season, but notes that it’s very unlikely that she and Matts children the journey.
“I’ll admit, it’s not like I’m 100 percent jumping for joy, because I still think I have some personal emotions and thoughts behind, you know, the farm, and what happened and stuff,” she says.
Matt has alienated his children Jeremy and Zach by refusing to sell them a piece of the farm at a price they can afford. Since then it has been difficult for him to sell it. Chris assures Amy that despite this, he still hopes her children and grandchildren will visit the farm for pumpkins every year. However, Amy is pessimistic because of it all “changes” she sees happen.

“The farm will always be Roloff Farms,” she tells cameras. “The Roloffs grew up there. But there’s a part of me that can definitely understand and see why all the kids wouldn’t be there because they don’t think of it as their farm anymore. Maybe that will change over time depending on what happens to this farm, but I think it’s Matt’s farm right now. It’s their father’s farm, and it’s sad.”
on TLC on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, you can catch Little People, Big world. When ET visited the Roloffs in October, Matt discussed the tense relationship he had with his son Zach.

“I would say the status of the relationship, if I had to sum it up, is on the right track,” Matt shared. “We have had some setbacks in recent years. We’ve shared them all in the upcoming season and before. Our real lives are always a little ahead of the curve when things get released. But we’re definitely working.”
ET also met Zach, who, after unsuccessfully negotiating with his father for a share of the farmchose to uproot his family and start a new life elsewhere. “It’s just a shame how it turned out, but I think a lot of the siblings have kind of had enough and have broken up, which is very sad and unfortunate,” he said.

“In my opinion, we should enjoy time with the grandkids and enjoy this season of life as a family, lots of cousins, but we’re all a bit separated. However, it is what it is.”
