Months after it was believed he had a medical emergency while driving, Will and Grace star Leslie Jordan finally identified his cause of death.
According to a Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner report, Leslie Jordan passed away as a result of “sudden cardiac dysfunction.”
According to the reports, atherosclerosis, commonly referred to as “arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease”, was cited as a secondary cause.
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, atherosclerosis is a buildup of plaque that causes the arteries to thicken or become more complex. On Oct. 24, the beloved Will & Grace star lost control of his car in Hollywood after what appeared to be a medical problem. In terms of age, he was 67.
A day after the tragic incident, it was revealed that the American Horror Story actor had experienced shortness of breath days before he died.

On Oct. 25, sources close to Jordan told TMZ that the comedian had a scheduled appointment with a cardiologist because he had complained of feeling sick.
The Call Me Kat celebrity was known to have only experienced Covid-19 once and had no other significant health complications other than these respiratory issues.
With his favorite videos, Jordan emerged as a beacon of hope for many on social media during the worst of the coronavirus outbreak.
The television personality amused viewers with clips of him interacting with the audience in his trademark Southern accent while holed up with his 84-year-old mother in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In an April 2021 interview, Jordan discussed how getting sober has affected his life.
“I came to AA 22 years ago and I had to research things,” he told us at the time. “I had to write about my fears, my beliefs, to find a god of my understanding, and it’s getting rid of that fear, that burning lake of fear.”
“I don’t know when, but here I am, 65, completely comfortable with who I am, what I am and how that happened. I think just living life and discovering things and reading things.”
He added, “It was a trip away from things you learned as a kid. It’s in the search; that’s my belief and don’t think I’ll figure it out. It’s just an open heart.”
