Jay Cutler speaks out about Kristin Cavallari’s divorce

The divorce agreement between Jay Cutler and his soon-to-be ex-wife, former reality star Kristin Cavallari, made the former NFL quarterback a sensation. In the most recent edition of his podcast, “Uncut with Jay Cutler,” Cutler joked with Clay Travis about throwing a party after receiving a settlement.

After parting ways in April 2020, Cutler, who played the vast majority of his 12 NFL seasons with the Bears, playedhe and Cavallari, 35, claimed “turned out good” at the divorce. Their divorce has not yet been finalized. Legal filings obtained by TMZ revealing that the couple had previously argued over money, with Cutler, 39, voicing his dismay at Cavallari’s desire to acquire another home.

“I don’t recommend a divorce to anyone, let me say that,” Cutler said. “But It worked. It worked for Kristin, it worked for me. It is what it is.” When the conversation turned to Cutler’s divorce, Travis chimed in, “I guarantee you will be the first quarterback to get divorced and make money in the NFL of the divorce.”

The quarterback’s laughter was contagious and he continued: ‘I don’t know what to say, first of all. I don’t know if I made any money, I just didn’t… We did well. In 2013, Cutler married Cavallari, who was selected 11th in the 2006 NFL Draft by the Broncos. They have three children together: a 6 year old daughter named Saylor James and twin boys named Camden Jack and Jaxon Wyatt.

“It’s true and funny and it is what it is. It’s a happy ending’ Cutler said. Kristin got what she wanted. I won on the other side of it, so it is what it is. Everyone wins.” In April, during an Instagram Q&A session, Cavallari said she was open to dating again. Likewise, Cutler reportedly has no partner.

The creator of Uncommon James responded affirmatively when asked if she would consider getting married again. “I still believe very much in marriage and I’ve had tremendous growth in the past two years, so I’m entering a new relationship as a different person, which really excites me,” Cavallari wrote, adding that she would be open to having another child.
