Adele told her fans in a tearful Instagram video that the set’s design and production were not up to her standards, attributing some shortcomings to pandemic delays.

This was definitely not the level-headed behavior that people have come to expect from Adele. However, in an August interview, she stated that the decision was still right: “The stage setup was wrong. She referred to the fiasco as “by far the worst moment of my career” due to the lack of intimacy and her and her bond’s disconnection.
