To always stroll through the streets of Hogsmeade with more style, you can see how to put on your hood in the equipment menu. Please note that this will not necessarily work with all outfits available in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy makes heavy use of cosmetic sets to guide you through the world map, completing the many challenges present in the wizard guide. Outside of PC mods, which replace your broomstick with Shrek or Thomas the Train, Avalanche’s title has a few minor tweaks to change the look of your fifth year.
How do you put on your hood?
Many outfits have a hood, but it’s never specified in the game tutorials, and the command to put it on and take it off isn’t necessarily apparent at first glance. Like changing the skin of a device, place your cursor over the capes and outfits icon, then just create a triangle to show or hide your hood. This has no effect on your stealth abilities, it’s just a nice little extra cosmetic bonus.

Antique uniform and outfits
Many challenges in the game reward you with cosmetics, providing a plethora of additional customization options for your wizard. To unlock these particularly stylish sets, you must have completed the Keys to the Daedalus quest at the start of the game.
