The episode summary

Does anyone else have a smile on their face for the last 10 minutes of this episode? What a great way to end this sweet romantic story.

It is a proof of power of writing that these two can stick with these 8 episodes and keep things incredibly watchable without resorting to all the usual teen clichés.

There is already a saturated market full of such dramas, promoting a cocktail of drugs, sex and crazy love triangles. It’s refreshing to see a show like Heartstopper not do that.

Sure, there are still parties and bullies, but this one feels much more consistent, similar to some Thai dramas about same-sex couples.

The story is well made across the eight episodes, and the ending certainly leaves room for a follow-up season or two. If it gets canceled, there’s a suitable solution based on how it ends, but I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see more of these two characters together.
