Hades: All about Aegis, the Shield of Chaos and its aspects

Aegis, shield of chaos offer you quite a unique gameplay on Hades, varying between attack and defense, melee and distance. The primary attack is a melee attack that knocks all your enemies back. By holding down the attack button, Zagreus can block almost all enemy attacks while charging a Frontal Charge, the Bull Charge, that will propel him forward. His special is a ranged shield throw, which bounces off walls and obstacles.

Aspect of Zeus

The aspect of Zeus replaces your Special with Lightning Disc. This new Special is a whirling shield thrown in front of you, which keeps spinning until you call it back, press your Special again. Improving this aspect will increase the base damage of the lightning disc.

Aspect of Beowulf

To unlock Beowulf’s aspect, a secret aspect of the Shield of Choas, you must have spent 5 Titan’s blood upgrading this weapon, with the exception of the Zagreus aspect. and have already obtained the secret aspect of the Eternal Spear. In the aspect of Beowulf you take +10% damage, you are slower but this penalty is compensated by massive damage, and your Bull’s Charge will be replaced by Dragon’s Charge.
