Anime is doing well right now because there are so many interesting and beautifully animated shows in the genre. Yet we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t mention it “Firepower.” The show’s unique take on a team of firefighters and the idea of spontaneous combustion has helped it gain the popularity it deserves.
The show is based on the manga from the creator of “Soul Eater”, Atsushi Kubo. It’s about Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can shoot fire from his feet. To deal with the Infernals, Shinra teams up with Special Fire Force Company 8, also made up of pyrokinetic. Halflings are the ones that spontaneously burn and turn into living flames.
Fire Force Season 2 ended in December 2020 and was among the top five anime TV shows on Amazon Prime Japan (via Anime News Network). Fans of the hit show are clearly looking forward to a new season, so here’s what we know about fire force season 3 so far.

When will Fire Force season 3 light up our screens?
Firepower season 3 used to be officially updated on May 16, 2022, by the show’s official Twitter account. We still don’t have a release date or other production news at this time. For a long time, we didn’t even know if the anime would be picked up for a third season, so at least we can hold onto our excitement as we wait for Crunchy Roll of Funimation to announce its release date.
With 2022 drawing to a close and no news on season 3, it looks like it’s coming out in early 2023. If they do what they did with the first two seasons, we may not see new episodes of “Fire Force” for another six months.
Fire Force Season 3: What’s Ahead?
We don’t know yet what will happen inside Firepower season 3. Since the anime has mostly stuck with the manga, we can probably guess what will happen to Shinra in Season 3.
Season 1 of the anime covered parts 1 through part of part 11, and season 2 covered parts 11 through some chapters of part 20. If the manga is really at the end of its story, season 3 could be adapted to volume 20. This is assuming the anime doesn’t go into filler episodes like “Naruto” or “Bleach”.
The end of Season 2 seemed to point to a bigger battle between Company 8 and the Evangelists in Season 3. During his training, Shinra was forced to reach a new point called “The Press of Death” as the Company’s enemies become stronger and became more dangerous. .
Also, Captain Hague of Company 4 was killed in the season finale, which was a huge blow to the heroes. Due to his new skill level, Shinra is able to set up an Adolla Link, which allows him to see Hague’s final moments. Season 3 will likely be about how Company 8 and the Tokyo Empire team up to fight the powerful forces of the Evangelist.
Reveal the characters of Fire Force season 3
No official cast list for it Firepower season 3 it came out. Based on how things went behind the scenes for the first two seasons, it’s likely most of the characters will return. A few new characters, such as Ogun Montgomery (voiced by Makoto Furukawa in Japanese and Zeno Robinson in English) and Scop (voiced by Kentaro Ito in Japanese and Tyler Walker), were the only additions to the cast (English).
Shinra still needs to be voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara (Japanese) and Derick Snow (English), both of whom have done this in the past (Via Anime News Network). Season 3 is supposed to be animated by the same studio, David Production, that did the first two seasons.
Tatsuma Minamikawa took over as director of Fire Force Season 2 after Yuki Yase left. Minamikawa will likely return as director for season 3, along with Kazuhiro Miwa as lead animator and Kenichiro Suehiro as composer unless otherwise stated.
