Violent Night is an American from 2022 Comedic Christmas Action Movie directed by Tommy Wirkola and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller.
It follows Santa Claus (David Harbour) as he battles mercenaries who have took a wealthy family hostage in their home.
The cast also includes John LeguizamoAlex Hassel, alexis louder, Edi Patterson, Cam Gigandet, Leah Brady and Beverly D’Angelo.

Violent Night (2022) Movie Ends, Explained
Scrooge is annoyed by the sudden disappearance of his gang members. Gertrude has already notified Commander Thorp’s private assassination team.
Thorp, on the other hand, does joined forces with Scrooge. He requests that the commander send all his men out to find the person who caused his carefully planned Christmas robbery.
On one side has been Santa Claus shed blood with a sledgehammer, slaughtering all the men who follow him. Scrooge and Thorp, on the other hand, discover that there is no money in the safe.
To find out who hid the money, Scrooge threatens Linda with death. When Jason sees his ex-wife in danger, he reveals that he is the one who stole it money to leave the family legacy behind him and starts a new life with his family. He takes Scrooge outside after further investigation to show him where he has hidden the money.
While fighting the armed men, Santa is shot and captured by Scrooge’s men. Despite Santa revealing his identity, no one believes what he has to say.
We also learn that Scrooge’s troubled childhood caused him to hate Christmas time because he could never have a Christmas party happy holiday with his familyand he has always blamed Santa for his misfortunes.

Trudy overhears the conversation and aids Santa in fleeing. She uses polyacrylate polymer artificial snow to create the illusion of snow in the house as if the presence of Santa Claus made it snow. At this point, Santa disappears from the chimney opening, completely confusing Gingerbread and Candy (two of Scrooge’s loyal henchmen).
Scrooge instructs them to look for him in the mansion. In doing so, they discover Trudy hiding in the attic. However, from the little girl fall seriously injured them, instantly killing Gingerbread. When Candy nearly kills Trudy, Santa stops her and scolds her for trying to kill an innocent child. He hits her on the head with his hammer, killing her.
Scrooge orders Krampus out kill the hostage, and together with Thorp he kidnaps Gertrude and flees with the money to the woods to chase Santa Claus. However, Alva, Linda and Bert manage to kill Krampus.

If you the 1988 movie Scrooged, there’s a blink and you won’t miss it scene where the title character, Frank Cross, a TV executive, shows a trailer for a mock movie called The Night The Reindeer Died.
Terrorists are trying to take over the city North Pole in this moviebut Santa, with the help of Lee Majors, uses violence and guns to stop them.
The scene is a great piece of humor in an already funny movie, but at the time people dismissed it as a parody and not something we would necessarily see in a Christmas movie. In Tommy Wirkola’s Violent Night, we finally reach the point where parody one reality in 2022.
Violent Night begins with a cold opening in a pub in London, England, on Christmas Eve. A confused man, played by Black Widow and Stranger Things’ David Harbor, drinks away while dressed in a relatively modern-looking Santa suit.

Another man appears dressed as Santa Claus, and they start talking, mistaking Harbor Santa for a mall Santa. With today’s kids, Harbor Santa has become despondent because they are obsessed with money and video games and no longer believe in the magic of Christmas or in Santa Claus himself.

The episode ends with Harbor sprinting to the roof to get back on his sled and puking all over a bartender who had followed him to make sure he wasn’t a crazy man. This one heavy drinking Santa and graphic puking scene set the tone for the rest of the movie.
