Kelly Rizzo, the actress who played DJ Tanner’s wife “Full Hall”, took to Twitter on the anniversary of her husband Bob Saget’s death to petition the site’s CEO, Elon Musk, to reinstate the verified badge on Saget’s profile. Saget’s Twitter page continues to attract more than two million regular readers.
Since Saget’s death in January, the page has been inactive and has not been validated for at least a year. “Hello, Elon Musk – today, on the one-year anniversary of Bob’s passing, I saw that he is no longer verified?” Rizzo wrote on her own Twitter account. “My husband really loved Twitter. Can anything be done out of respect for his legacy? Thank you very much (friends, please help).”
“And the only reason I’m bringing this up is because I know Bob would be very upset about this,” added Rizzo. “He’d be like, ‘Hey, if someone is going to check out my page and all the jokes I’ve tweeted over the years, how will they be sure it’s me!?'” On January 9, 2021, Saget passed away at the age of 65.
The strip had recently embarked on another comedy tour and was in Florida at the time. The family of the “Full Hall” actor revealed to Variety a few weeks after his death that he had died of head trauma. That Saget “accidentally hit the back of his head on something, didn’t think about it and fell asleep”, as the police report states, was the conclusion of the investigators. There was zero alcohol or drug use.
Saget’s role as Danny Tanner, father of children DJ (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle Tanner, on the hit 1990s sitcom “Full room” brought him great fame (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). Many of his co-stars, including John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, paid tribute to him after his death.
And the only reason I’m bringing this up is because I know Bob would be very upset about this. He would say “Hey, if someone is going to check out my page and all the jokes I’ve tweeted over the years, how will they be sure it’s me!?”

“Thirty-five years ago we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family. And now we mourn as a family.” the cast wrote in a statement at the time.
“Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow from sadness, but also from gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us boys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in honor of Bob, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob.” The wait for Musk’s response to Rizzo’s investigation continues. Check out the answers below to see her thoughts.
