Millie Bobby Brown, just 13 years old, has already achieved fame thanks to her breakthrough performance as Eleven in the hugely successful Netflix series Stranger Things. But that shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Brown decided to appear on film for eight hours and took all the necessary steps to make it happen.
Brown described wanting to act “like an insect” to Variety. “I know this sounds weird, but nothing can stop me once I decide to do something. If I really wanted to sew, but didn’t know how, I would sew anyway. The same goes for acting. So I’m here.
But the actress hasn’t always had it easy. She also admitted to Variety that she never studied singing or acting. But despite being completely deaf in one ear, she manages to do both.
She revealed to the publication that she was born with partial hearing loss in one ear, but after years of tubes, the loss of her hearing in that side was complete. She can’t hear herself very well whether she’s acting or singing.
