Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available in Early Access on all platforms from Tuesday, September 6, 2022. The chance for you to discover and restore this magical world by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether to explore the open world by unlocking the passages of night thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or to go through the castle and its magical paintings. DDV has already received today three major content updates. The first in October with Scar les Mines de Vitalys, the second in December with the Kingdom of Toy Story and the third in February 2023 with Olaf and Mirabel!
The mystery of the golden potato has finally been solved
DDV fans have been wondering for months what’s the point of this mysterious golden potato they received in their mailbox thanks to a code hidden in one of the game’s official images! If you don’t already have it, here’s the code in question:
Enter it in the Settings > Help section of your game.
The fans had tried everything: feeding it to the Critters, cooking it, burying it, putting it in one of the Secret Door’s chests… Nothing had worked and it was necessary to wait for the February update to finally see the mystery dissolved. Without further ado, here’s what you need to do:
- Take the Golden Potato from your inventory,
- Go to the Enchanted Beach, in the Mysterious Cave, on the level of the second riddle: you will find a kind of fragment with which objects can be transformed,
- Place the potato in it golden root in return !
- Take the carrot to Elsa’s cave in the Forest of Courage,
- Again you see a black shard on his icy table: swap the carrot for one golden crab,
- Now take the crab to the Castle of dreams (where all the gates of the Kingdom are),
- Go to the top floor where the fountain is and find the black fragment on the railing to exchange the crab for a golden night thorn,
- Now take her to Merlin to find the last Transfiguration Fragment on the table to the right.
- You get a golden potion!

The mystery continues!
Unfortunately, we now have no idea what this new object is called Golden potion. Merlin doesn’t want to tell us about him, and users of the official Discord haven’t found anything yet. In addition, as explained in our Mirabel guide, a new item has appeared in Remy’s fridge: red potato !
Again, we don’t know what to do with the latter, but it looks like we can cook it. All that’s left is to discover the recipe or wait a few more months…
