Some detective work Corvette fans were on their way to race night when they noticed that a visualizer for the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray hybrid accidentally went live on the Chevy website.
Chevrolet spotted the mistake and quickly removed the photos. But screenshots of the car are still available for anyone to see online, thanks to some fast-acting members of CorvetteBlogger.com.

Last April, Chevrolet released a teaser video of a new Hybrid Covervette, stating that it “will be available as early as next year and an all-electric version will follow.” But very little information has been released about the vehicle.
The leaked photos didn’t show too much, according to the website, but what you can expect Jalopnick:
“It uses the same wider body as the C8 Z06, with a more aggressive front end and larger side intakes. But instead of centrally mounted exhaust tips like the Z06, the E-Ray has a pair of chrome pipes at each end of the rear bumper like a normal C8.”
The E-Ray will be a hybrid, but will still use the regular C8, Corvette’s LT2 V8 engine.

The leaked photos reveal that the Corvette will be available in three new colors, available carbon fiber wheels and a ZER Performance package.
Jalopnik estimates that the E-Ray will cost about $150,000.
This is much more than Chevrolet wanted people to know at this point, but they took the leak to heart.
In a statement, a company spokesperson said: “The holidays came early.”
