The episode summary Do you like cliffhangers? Studio Mappa is doing what we need to do because we have not one, but three scenarios to consider until we get another season of Chainsaw Man. This episode is packed thrilling action scenes and provides a satisfying conclusion for our cast regarding Himeno’s demise. It’s not perfect, but it is one good start for the future. From locating the Gun Devil to Pochita warning Denji not to open a door in his dream world, there are enough questions to keep fans guessing. If you want to make that your last scene, it has to be this particular scene woman is important to the story. Could she work for the Gun Devil? Is she close to Denji? These are some of the questions I have on the next season of the show. Speculation aside, the action sequences we got this week were a mixed bag. While it was entertaining to watch Denji and Katana Man fight in the air, on buildings and on a moving train, their character animations and designs seemed shocking from different angles. Here are the 2 figures I chose. They are added to my wish list pic.twitter.com/JYVY4o5uuV — CHAINSAW MAN NATION (@chainsawmannews) December 29, 2022 Their body movements while talking and fighting were not as fluid as they were in earlier periods on the show. It’s possible ruining different people’s experiences with it, especially those looking for an unforgiving fight with flawless visuals. On that note, seeing Sawatari fall in battle felt too convenient. While it makes sense given the circumstances, past episodes show her as one crafty individual who can work his way out of trouble. With the help of the Snake Devil, she could have easily defeated Hayakawa and Kobeni. Although it seems like she would have lost anyway, many fans may have wished for a better fight than her surrender and suicide. Furthermore, there were some endearing character moments and a few jokes that made me laugh. Overall this was a satisfactory one Chainsaw Man’s conclusion first season. It had some good fights and left viewers a lot to think about for season two. Let’s hope the show can maintain this momentum as we wait for and (hopefully!) enter the next season.
