The Chainsmokers, an electronic dance music duo, have admitted to playing a strange thing with fans, but in today’s cycle of celebrity news, you’d be pretty happy if you didn’t know. Friends Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, who recently appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, make up the group. They admitted they asked to play when host Alex Cooper questioned them about it.

“Rarely,” Pall revealed, adding, “It’s not much suggested.”

The writers of the 2016 hit “Closer” admitted that they regularly encountered these diabolical threesomes (two guys and a girl), mainly because they often brought girls into the same hotel room. They weren’t as successful then as they are now. Pall said, “It’s been a long time.”

“It was also when we used to have to share hotel rooms,” Taggart said. “In Europe they have the two beds; they don’t even split them apart. So it’s almost by force that we were forced into these scenarios.”

Pall also joked“Does it count if it’s international?” They both agreed that those situations were “strange; I’m not going to lie.” Pall claims they were in shock after their first ménage à trois.

“I think we both thought, ‘What just happened?'” he remembered. “Because they were never planned, you know what I mean?” Men are just men!

We will never listen to “Closer” the same way again after that The chain smokersmost recent interview.

The DJ pair behind 2010’s radio hits including “Roses,” “Something Just Like This” and “Don’t Let Me Down,” Alex Pall and Drew Taggart went on the Call Her Daddy podcast and revealed more beans than someone expected. One of the stories of their first encounters and festival appearances involved a journey through a torrid and burdensome stretch of memory.

When the topic of love and romance came up, host Alex Cooper abruptly changed the subject by asking, “How often do people propose this to the two of you, and how many times have you accepted?”

After awkward laughter, Pall asks: “Does it count if it’s international?”

Cooper continues with, “Did you look at each other differently that morning?”

“The first time?” Pal replies.

The two seem to have performed The Devil’s Three-wayTM worldwide. They said it was never intentional and there just weren’t enough beds.

“I think we thought, ‘What just happened?’ Because they were never planned, ‘ Pall continues.

‘It’s a long time ago. It was also the day when we used to have to share hotel rooms. In Europe they have the two beds; they don’t even split them apart…so it’s almost by force that we were forced into these scenarios.

It sounds a bit dramatic to claim that they were forced to have sex because of the old one “And there was only one bed!” fanfiction trope, but we can all go along with it if it makes them feel better.

On social media, the reactions to this discovery have mainly fallen into the water “Please Stop Telling Us Things” camp.

While they may just not like The Chainsmokers, it could be homophobia:

However, we find nothing wrong with a little bumping and grinding. In the past, straight men who wanted to experiment freely together had to join the army or sail to sea. Now all they have to do is record unoriginal pop music and go on tour? That feels like progress, not “Love Wins” over The Chainsmokers.

And, to be fair, they look great together:
