Car drives into Apple Store, one dead, 14 hospitalizations so far

Chaos ensued at an Apple Store in Hingham, Massachusetts when a car crashed through the front window, killing one person and leaving 14 hospitalized.

The incident took place on Derby Street just after 11am on Monday. Videos and photos on social media show a giant hole through the glass storefront, with the car in the very back of the store with firefighters encircling the ground.

ABC news reported that at least three people were carried on stretchers.

It is still unclear what the condition of the driver was prior to the accident.

There are probably close to 10 ambulances in the parking lot right now, along with many fire engines and police vehicles,” a witness said. ABC News. “The parking lot was very, very busy, so I assume there were a lot of people in the store.”
