More dates have been added to Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s 2023 tour. August, September, November and December are the dates for the North American shows. The group’s full schedule, including previously announced performances in the US and Europe, is included below.

The beginning of Springsteen’s tour was a bit bumpy. Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau started the debate over the exorbitant cost of concert tickets before it even started. “When setting ticket prices for this tour, we carefully considered what our competitors had done.

We have chosen prices that are comparable to others and lower than others,” Landau said. “Despite criticism that only a small percentage of tickets cost $1,000 or more, the actual average ticket cost has remained in the mid-$200 range.

I think in the current situation it’s fair to pay that much to see someone who is widely recognized as one of the very best artists of his time. “What I do is very simple. I advise my boys to go out and observe what other people are doing. In a 2022 interview with Rolling stoneadded Springsteen, “Let’s charge a little less.

I reminded them that this time we are 73 years old. The men are present. I want to follow my classmates in what they do. So that’s what happened. They acted that way. I’m aware that some fans didn’t like it, but if there are any complaints along the way, you can get your money back.

Backstreets, a venerable Springsteen fanzine, also ended publication in protest at the charges of “many of [its] readers cannot pay.” Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s tour kicked off on February 1 in Tampa, Florida.

Soon after, band members Steven Van Zandt and Soozie Tyrell were unable to perform in Dallas due to COVID-19. Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa, an E Street Band singer and guitarist, also skipped the show Dallas show for some unknown reason.

In happier news, Variety reports that Bruce Springsteen has recorded a brand new song for Rebecca Miller’s next movie, She Came to Me. The song ‘Addicted to Romance’ was written and performed by Bruce Springsteen and produced by Ron Aniello and Bryce Dessner of the National.
