In 2010 she started her career as Senior Analyst at Oerdo Qatar. She is now Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee of the Local Organizing Committee for the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Doha. In addition to her current position as Director of Marketing and Communications at the QOC, Asma is also Director of Marketing and Communications for the 20th FINA World Championships and World Masters Championships, Doha 2023 LOC.
She has been a member of the Asian Games Bid Committee Doha 2030 since March 2020. She was also a teacher at the Qatar Olympic Academy for a while. Asma just became the first woman from Qatar to ski to the South Pole and climb Mount Vinson on January 12, 2020.
