Gay marriage decision

Why we need queer educators in our schools

Nevertheless, these educators should not be discouraged from teaching, as many students, school staff, and LGBTQ advocates oppose these curricular restrictions. This is especially true in recent years, as the community has become more visible and active in the political arena. While the LGBTQ+ community has made great strides in recent years, there is still much work to be done in terms of equality and acceptance. Fortunately, California is a state that generally supports it LGBTQ+ residentsand there are many organizations and resources available to ensure that everyone can live their lives to the fullest.
