BLACKPINK is reportedly leaving YG Entertainment to help label THE BLACK LABEL, a branch of YG Entertainment. KpopHerald says that when BLACKPINK leaves their current management company, YG Entertainment, they will move to THE BLACK LABEL.
Since it is a branch of YG Entertainment, YG Entertainment controlled more than half of THE BLACK LABEL. A YG Entertainment official told KpopHerald that they cannot confirm the news, but that the BLACKPINK members still have time on their contracts.
“I am not in a position to confirm the news, but our contracts with the members have not yet expired. It is difficult to confirm whether they will sign with The Black Label or not after their contract expires.” Taeyang had also left YG Entertainment in the past to join THE BLACK LABEL.
